Svalinn is a legendary shield in Norse mythology which stands in front of the sun, protecting the world from her heat. Svalinn in Old Norse translates as "cold" or "chill". This shield pendant is filled with incredibly icey Sapphires from around the world, from Sri Lanka, to Australia, and above all Montana. Wrapped in sterling silver with filagree across the face.
